Hiking on spring school holidays 2014
At the 2014 spring school holidays we organize two relatively simple hike, suitable for parents with children from 7 years. March in the mountains it's not quite spring , so high up in the mountains we are not useful. Rather, choose something affordable and enjoyable in every way :)
In Crimea, for this purpose there is an area cave cities ( Bakhchisarai to Sevastopol ) where the maximum height - on the strength of 500 meters above sea level . So it will be warm - up to 17 day and 5 at night. At the same time , these places are very interesting - in the Middle Ages on the flat tops of the inner ridge of Crimean mountains huddled walled city and fortress - monasteries . And defenses and homes here are often simply hollowed in the soft limestone , creating a branched chain of shallow caves. Of " windows" caves stunning views of the canyons and Kachi Belbek on another snowy plateau Ai-Petri and not so distant sea . It looks very exotic (knowingly filmmakers here permanently remove something ) - like children and adults .
If you want more heat , you can spend spring break in the campaign in Turkey . On the Mediterranean coast, just west of Antalya and Kemer , a great hiking trail - " Lycian Way " . One of his sites ( the easiest and "sea " ) , we have identified a separate tour - " Bay of the Lycian coast ." We go along the sea, the sea is clean , the water is almost warm ( 15 ) , azure bays , little people , landscapes zingy , covered with legends ancient ruins there . Spring in the Himalayas
starts on April 1 march "To the heart of Annapurna" (Nepal). At this time in the Himalayas are blooming rhododendron forests. It is an indescribable sight. Weather for May holidays 2013
the Weather forecast for May holidays this year is unfavourable - spring as was cold and rainy so it and remains. In Crimea promise +17 day, and +7 night, rains. And it is the forecast for coast. If you go to mountains, consider that there on pair degrees is colder. In Сarpathians too it is wet, day temperature +10, at night to-1. In Turkey for May holidays is much warmer +25, but too it is rainy (hardly more low I will give references to a detailed weather forecast for each of regions).
Trips to New Year 2014
End Entry winter hikes on New Year's Eve 2014 . In groups of 3-4 places left , and train tickets will soon become scarce. So if you want to get into the mountains, do not waste time .

The ban on visits to the mountain zone in the Crimea
6 August issued a decree of the Council of Ministers of Crimea on a total ban on visiting the mountain forest zone. This is done to prevent the threat of fires in a heat wave. Rescue Service to terminate the registration of tourist groups. So far, only until 15 August. But if the weather does not change, then the ban will be extended.

Where to hide from intolerable heat? Personally I would hide in Carpathians.
