Lake Brebeneskul

Ukraine’s highest lake, at 1801 m on the south-western slope of Chornohora, between the peaks Brebeneskul (2035 m) and Hutyn-Tomnatyk. A glacial cirque lake: small (147×67 m) and shallow (up to 3.2 m), with water warming to at most +9°C in summer.
