Bakhchisaray-Yalta
This tour combines the very best of two other popular routes across mountainous Crimea. The first part of the trek runs along the Inner Ridge of the Crimean mountains, through the mysterious ruins of the cave cities of Crimea lost among the rocks. In the second part we admire the Grand Canyon of Crimea, conquer Ai-Petri and descend into Yalta.

Day by dayItinerary
1 Day 1. Simferopol, Bakhchisarai, Assumption Monastery, cave city Chufut-Kale.
From Simferopol, where the group is meeting, we will move to Bakhchisarai - the capital of the Tatar khans. We will visit the Khan's palace and the active Orthodox cave monastery of the Assumption. And of course we will see Chufut-Kale - the first of the cave cities on our way, as well as the sacred cemetery of the Karaites. For the night we will camp near the Beshik-Tau mountain.
2 Day 2. cave cities of Tepe-Kermen and Kyz-Kermen, cave monastery Kachi-Kalyon.
The next cave city is Tepe-Kermen. There are much fewer people here than in Bakhchisarai, and “black” archaeologists often take advantage of this. From the plateau you can see the remains of another cave city, Kyz-Kermen. Well, it’s time for us to move on, to the cave monastery Kachi Kalyon. There is almost nothing left of it, but there is water in the holy spring. Nearby, on the banks of the Kacha River, we will set up our tents.
3 Day 3. Chelter Koba cave monastery. Syuren Fortress.
Most of the route will pass through a real Crimean forest of fluffy oaks and beeches abundantly entwined with vines. Alimova Gully, which we will walk along, in some places resembles a real jungle. On the other side of this forest we will ascend to the Chelter-Koba cave monastery and the ruins of the Suiren fortress, located on the same plateau. We will spend the night nearby, at a sacred spring.
4 Day 4. Grand Canyon of Crimea.
In the morning we will move to the village of Sokolinoe, from where we will begin the climb to the Eagle's Flying rock. Having descended to the other side, we will visit the Serebryanny waterfall and enter the Grand Canyon of Crimea. We will walk along its bottom to the Bath of Youth and spend the night nearby.
5 Day 5. Climbing Ai-Petri.
6 Day 6. Descent to Yalta
We have to choose how to go down to Yalta. We can go there by cable car, go down the Taraktash trail to the Uchan-Su waterfall, or choose the Miskhor trail starting right from the Ai-Petri battlements.
Expect that we will get to Yalta no earlier than 16:00. If you need to leave Crimea on the same day, then take tickets from Simferopol for evening trains (after 19:00).

I really liked the instructor! It is generally impossible to describe the beauty of the surrounding nature, and the fact that I have already decided on the route for next year, I think, speaks for itself. THANKS A LOT!!!!!!!
