Silver Streams Waterfall (Serebryanye Strui)

Silver streams - a small waterfall on the Sary-Uzen River near the Great Canyon of the Crimea, in the valley near the village of Sokoline, between Bakhchisaray and Yalta. It was about 6 meters high, and got its name because of its characteristic appearance: water flowed in thin threads along the tufa cornice covered with moss, like the silver strings of a giant musical instrument.

At the beginning of 2016, due to sharp changes in temperature and freezing, the tufa cornice collapsed, and the waterfall lost its famous appearance. So now it is more a place of memory of the former beauty than the same postcard picture - but the Sara-Uzen valley itself and the nearby Grand Canyon have not gone anywhere and are worth a walk.
