Orlyny zalit
Orlyny Zalot, aka Mount Sedam-Kaya, rises 1,026 meters near Ai-Petrynska Yayla. Despite the proud name, the eagles are here for nothing, except for the mood: the top is part of a picturesque ridge in the Bakhchisaray district.
The mountain lies approximately 2.5 km south of the village of Sokoline, and you can only get here on foot, you cannot get to the top by car. Wide views open from the top, and the northern and eastern slopes are cut off by steep rocks. The remains of ancient buildings can be found near the top.
Danylcha-Koba grotto-cave is hidden nearby, a good reason to deviate from the main route. And from November 1941 to March 1942, the headquarters of the Crimean partisans stood here, as the memorial sign reminds.
