What is Eagle's Flight and what is its height?

This is Mount Sedam-Kaya in the Crimea, 1026 meters high - part of the ridge near Ai-Petrynskaya Yayla. Eagle flight is one of its names, and yes, eagles are not useful here, except for the mood.

Where is it located and how to get there?

The mountain is located in the Bakhchisaray district, approximately 2.5 km south of the village of Sokoline. From there they go on foot - you can't get to the top by car.

What can be seen here?

From the top there are wide views of the surrounding area, and the northern and eastern slopes are cut off by steep rocks. Remains of ancient buildings can be found near the top.

Are there any caves nearby?

Yes, the grotto-cave of Danylcha-Koba is hidden on the slopes. A good reason to look aside from the main route.

What else is interesting about this place?

Here stood the headquarters of the Crimean partisans from November 1941 to March 1942 - a memorial sign reminds of this. Nearby stretches the ridge to Mount Syyuryu-Kaya, whose name in Crimean Tatar means sharp mountain.
