Beshik-Tau
Beshik-Tau is a low mountain in the vicinity of Bakhchisaray, next to the rock towns and monasteries of the Crimean foothills. The name from Crimean Tatar roughly translates as "cradle mountain", due to its characteristic shape.
There are no particularly loud sights here - it is rather a landmark and a goal for a short ascent among the wooded slopes. However, the surrounding landscape of the valley can be easily read from here, and the route itself is easy to combine with visits to the nearby attractions of Bakhchisarai.
