Ai-Petri is a mountain on the plateau of the same name above Alupka, with a peak of about 1234 meters. Its most recognizable part is the rocky teeth from 7 to 19 meters high, which protrude above the sea like the jaws of a dragon, and have long become one of the hallmarks of the Crimean coast.

You can climb it in different ways: the most spectacular is the cable car from Myshor, which has the longest span in Europe without supports, but the Yalta - Bakhchisarai route or a pedestrian one is also suitable. ascent from Wuchang-Su waterfall. The village of Okhotnyche awaits on the plateau, and a whole underground collection of 27 caves hides under your feet.

Dress warmly even in summer: Ai-Petri is the windiest place in Crimea and all of Ukraine, gusts here can reach up to 50 meters per second, and there are more than two hundred foggy days a year. The cap should be held firmly.
