Lago Pehoe

Lago Pejoe is one of the most recognizable lakes of the Torres del Paine National Park in Chilean Patagonia. Its rich turquoise has almost become a symbol of the entire park and the decoration of many postcards.

The color of the water is given by glacial flour - the smallest rock ground by ice - and the jagged silhouette of the Pine massif serves as the background. On an island in the middle of the lake there is a well-known shelter, which offers a postcard-like view.

The shores of Pehoe are a convenient point for walks, photos and rest between hikes. As everywhere in this region, there is a strong wind here, so warm clothes will not be superfluous even in summer.
