Lago Paine
Lake Paine is one of the picturesque mountain lakes of the Torres del Paine National Park in Chilean Patagonia. It lies in the northern part of the massif, among rocks, glaciers and boundless Patagonian spaces.
The waters here are rich turquoise, as in many neighboring lakes of the park - a signature color born from glacial flour, finely ground rock. The place is more for contemplation and photography than for loud attractions.
The weather in this corner of Patagonia is changeable and windy at any time of the year, so warm clothes and a windbreaker are recommended even in the height of summer.
