Islamchat
Islamchat is a mountain river in the Central Caucasus, in the highlands near the Kazbek massif. It flows along steep slopes among screes and alpine meadows, where the landscape is more about stone and ice than about greenery.
For a traveler, it is more of a landmark and a natural border on the approaches to Kazbek than an independent goal. There are no exact measurements of the river at hand, so we will not promise numbers, but there is an abundance of harsh Caucasian beauty here.
