Kyrtykaush Pass

Kyrtykaush is a pass in the Elbrus area, through which one of the classic trekking trails in the Elbrus region passes. The very name (aush in Turkic - pass) already suggests what you are dealing with.

This is the section of the route where you gain height for the sake of the panorama: sharp ridges, alpine meadows below and the white cap of Elbrus somewhere on the horizon. We don't promise any special sensations, but the pass knows its business as an observation point on a hiking route.
