Mara River

Marka is a small mountain river in the Caucasus. There are countless such watercourses here: they are born somewhere high among the ridges, run down with icy melt water and get lost among larger rivers.

There is not much detailed information about this river, so treat it like a typical Caucasian stream: clean cold water, stones and a mountain landscape all around. For a traveler, it is more of a background landmark in the area than an independent travel goal.
