Kizil-Aush
Kyzil-Aush is a mountain river in the western part of the Caucasus, in Karachay-Cherkessia. Its name (Turkic "kizil" - red) is typical of local toponyms related to the color of rocks or soils.
There is not much detailed information about the river - it is more a part of the landscape of this region of high ridges and alpine meadows than a separate tourist attraction. For a traveler, it is a landmark on the way through the Caucasian valleys.
