Day by dayItinerary

1

Day 1. Ivano-Frankivsk, Yasinya, Dragobrat

The group meets at the Ivano-Frankivsk station and goes by minibus to the village of Yasinya. From here our route to the Svidovets ridge begins. We will climb along a serpentine road and stop not far from the Dragobrat tourist center, where we will spend the night in a picturesque clearing. Bonfire, first acquaintance.

2

Day 2. Svidovets Ridge, Mount Stog

Today we will climb Mount Stog (1704 m) and begin the route along western Svidovets. Stunning views of mountain cirques, alpine meadows and lakes await us. The road along Svidovets is smooth and comfortable. We will camp for the night next to Mount Stogi (1378 m).

3

Day 3. Mountain of Love, Ust-Chorna.

Today we will begin to descend from the Svidovets ridge. The path will roll down through dense beech forests until it leads to the same Mountain of Love. At first glance, the place is the most ordinary, but if only you knew what legends surround it... And in the distance you can already see Krasna Polonina, the next ridge along which we will go. We descend to the village of Ust-Chorna and climb the Krasna ridge. We will spend the night in the Gavaisgavor meadow next to the shepherds' houses.

4

Day 4. Polonina Krasna, Prislop pass.

Today we will walk all day along the Krasna meadow. Tourists rarely go here and the places are protected. In the summer, blueberries ripen all around here and you can use them to diversify your diet (this is why I love hiking in the Carpathians). We will stop for the night at the Prislop pass.

5

Day 5. Mount Strymba, village Kolochava, museum of antiquities

Today we will begin our journey to Mount Strymba (1719 m), which rises proudly and high among the surrounding mountains. First we will climb Mount Streminis, and then Strymba itself. From here we can already see far away the surrounding mountains - Gorgany and the Krasna ridge. We descend to the authentic village of Kolochava, where you can visit the open-air antiquity museum. We will stop for the night at the Olshansky reservoir.

6

Day 6. Mizhhirya, Ivano-Frankivsk or Lviv.

Early in the morning we leave for Mizhhirya, from where you can go to both Ivano-Frankivsk and Lviv, and to Mukachevo if you want to visit the ancient Palanok castle. The instructor and the main part of the group leave for Ivano-Frankivsk. In any case, return tickets should only be taken for evening trains (not earlier than 18:00).

The instructor reserves the right to make changes to the route depending on the weather and the condition of the group.
