📍 Carpathians 🗓 2017 ✍ Oleksii Shramko

And so, the time has come to write your own review about the hike along the Chornohirsky ridge 06/18/17-06/23/17

The world is now even more diverse, the Internet, mobile phones, tablets, etc. are everywhere, you can always turn on YouTube and marvel at the beauty, marvel at photos of beautiful places in a search engine - everything is at our fingertips. It’s the soul that matters. awareness of living, wild, fresh nature, and simple human intercourse, forget about all the problems, forget about connections with the outside world, although not for long (fortunately, there is coverage in Most of the Carpathians allow it:))

When I first visited the Carpathians as a traveler (from the beginning without tracking, in comfort and transported by buses), I immediately stumbled into the mountains, and said to myself: at the first time, I will definitely return here and still in the dark full-fledged tourist, with a majestic backpack on his back))

And so it happened. Having already left the New Rock, I’m going on a hike, it’s fun! We knew that we were of the same mind from work and from that moment we began to think about what the brothers needed, how to get dressed, etc., so I respect that the luck of loving the preparations, and what’s more, we didn’t want to get lost in halep and piss yourself off with hostility. Before the speech, a description of what you should do on the site is explanatory, follow this list with your own edits. (P.S. Raju do not ignore the list of disputes, brothers will normally take care of the other equipment, if the budget of the support is reduced rental/possible from a friend/second hand)

It’s now time, and it’s already a week before the hike, three days, a day and a half, we’re already at the station, heading towards Frankivsk. I axis, we are already at Frankivsku. Start at 10:00, and the train having arrived earlier, we walked around the entire center of Frankivska to pass the hour. We arrived at the place where we met our guide Oleg, we arrived at the food collection point, and then there was a surprise! The bunch is a whole foreign legion! 3 Indians, 1 Indian, 2 English and 1 German, a couple from Lvov, two friends from Dnieper and I and a friend from Kiev.

Uncomfortable turn, easy acquaintance, heat, various problems with communication, and I took on the role of transfer (at the same time practicing my English, also an acceptance bonus)) We get into the bus and go to the Kozmeshchik tab.

We are sorting out a mountain of products and equipment for each participant, getting organized and on the road to Lazeshchyna! We are gradually gaining altitude, after reaching all the dams, sometimes we are skidding, but at the same time it seems that things are starting to fit) More a cheerful long walk with contentment, twisting along the path along the way, the clay is crushed, as it sticks to the sole, the board is lightly shaken, here you understand how good the track sticks are!)

Here we are slowly learning who is doing what, who is going ahead, who is standing behind, who cares, who doesn’t. We got to the dairy, our eyes had not yet swelled to such enchanting views, our heads were constantly marveling at the sides and occasionally at our feet:) Immediately taking a piece of sheep wurdy (already alive!)

The little ones broke the tabir, and began to think about the evening, went for firewood, began to cook, although we had supper at 23:05, but this added its romance - eating under the eyes of white rot and with a roaming appetite, the savory borscht of preparations Guide Oleg is still hostile!

Having risen and eaten delicious oatmeal with condensed milk and dried fruits, it hangs into the side of Petros, and now the foothills of this mountain will bewitch with its beauty... And the axis begins a difficult climb, You need to watch under your feet steadily, so as not to knock down a tricky stone or slip with your knees or 5 points (this was the case).

We got up, admired the beauty (fortunately the weather allowed), took photos as if without anything, and on the way down) the descent was still fun...) then we drank some seagulls, fortified ourselves with a little something sweet and forward to Goverla across the bridge.

Before Goverla, we left with a bang, and on the way up, we began to calm down, and it was time to refuel with dried fruits and relish a white wine near Goverla. The dried fruits gave me a delicious boost of energy, and I just rushed to the top, turning on the music on my phone, going as far as the exits, once or twice, and without realizing it, I saw the spire at the top and climbed to the top, fortunately we were there After lunch, there were 4 tourists at the top, so we had enough time to admire the sights, take photographs, and see what happened without crowds of tourists.

Then the long descent from Goverlya to the Zaroslyak base began. And the axis, we are already on Zaroslyak, is exhausted, we check for those standing (not everyone found it easy to go through two mountains in a day). We break the tabir and prepare the buckwheat and stew, having eaten enough, we go to bed.

On the third day we stopped in the camp, rested after the descent, bought souvenirs, walked, dried out, sent half of our group home (a three-day tour) and left the six of us together with the guide, sat mentally in the dark, told stories, evening, went to bed)

Day four - the plan is to go to Lake Nesamovite, further along the ridge and spend the night on the ruins of the Sidlovyna river near Pip-Ivan. We went for a ride in the snow of Bel Nesamovyty, on the ridge we went into the fog like milk and a hurricane wind, it was a long night)

On the fifth day, we jumped into the 5th morning and got up to watch the sun go down. It’s great, you want the sun to go away more often, when the sun rises, warms up the drowsy gloom in the mountains and then the stench rises to the top... Next is the radio on Pip-Ivan, it’s already deserved, beautiful views!

Turning from Popa, getting up and down to Dzembronya, descent, descent, descent, on the road we are loaded with cheese at home from the dairy, we break the tabir, we share the ingredients of the richness, we eat buckwheat from carcass...

We spent the rest of the night in the mountains, we didn’t even want to go out into everyday life, we wanted to be deprived of more..)

I would like to thank Outdoor Ukraine and especially our guide Oleg Boyko for a wonderful tour, revealing a lot of history, providing all the necessary information about tourism and equipment for us as newbies on May Day. After this tour, I have already supported myself morally, and physically worked hard and checked what I was created for. So it became stronger to walk in the mountains and beyond...)
