Day by dayItinerary
1 Day 1. Ivano-Frankivsk, Bukovel, Mount Khomyak
The group meets at the Ivano-Frankivsk railway station and travels by bus to the Bukovel ski resort. Before reaching Bukovel, we get out and begin a slow ascent along the serpentine road to Mount Khomyak. We will climb the sharp peak of Khomyak (1541 m) and admire the beauty of the surrounding mountains. At the top of Khomyak there is a statue of the Virgin Mary. We go down for the night to the Baranya meadow.
2 Day 2. Mount Sinyak, Mount Maly Gorgan, Bladziv Valley.
Today our path will pass through rocky screes - gorgans (the entire Gorgans mountain range is named after them). The delicate greenish tint of these stones is visible for many kilometers; you will accurately learn to determine which of the peaks also belong to the Gorgans. We will gradually gain altitude until we climb Mount Sinyak (1665 m), after which we will climb Mount Maly Gorgan (1592 m). We will spend the night in the Bladziv meadow.
3 Day 3. Valley of the Zubrinka River.
Today we have to descend into the valley of the Zubrinka River. We will walk through the forest all day until we go down to the river. We will stop for the night in a beautiful mountain river valley.
4 Day 4. Mount Dovbushanka, Mount Vedmezhik, Dovbushanskoye Lake.
Today we will start climbing Mount Dovbushanka (1754 m). We have a long difficult climb ahead until we reach the top of Dovbushanka, one of the most beautiful mountains in the Carpathians. Then we will continue along the ridge and climb the steep Mount Vedmezhik (1736 m). From here we will begin our descent down to the picturesque Dovbushan Lake.
5 Day 5. Mount Polenskaya, obstacle course
Today, for those who wish, we will begin the journey to one of the most inaccessible mountains in the Carpathians - Polenskaya (1693 m). We have to go through a forest littered with windbreaks and difficult to navigate alpine pine thickets. Then we will return and spend the night on the lake.
6 Day 6. The village of Bystritsa, Ivano-Frankivsk.
We say goodbye to beautiful nature and go down along the river to the village of Bystritsa, from where we leave for Ivano-Frankivsk.
The instructor reserves the right to make changes to the route depending on the weather and the condition of the group.
