Vedmezhik
Vedmezhik is a peak 1737 meters high in the Gorgan massif, on the Dovbushanka ridge. Administratively, it belongs to the Nadvirnyan district of the Ivano-Frankivsk region, and it is joined by its neighbors Dovbushanka (1754 m) and Pikun (1657 m), which can be reached by gentle slopes.
They usually start here from the villages of Bystrytsia or Zelena. The northern slope is steep and with cliffs, so it is better not to climb there, but the southeastern and western sides are gentler and passable. The top is littered with stones and overgrown with gorse, the same tenacious mountain pine.
The mountain is included in the nature reserve of Gorgana, so behave accordingly: there is no garbage here, and silence is the main decoration.
