Bogdan
Bohdan is a mountain village in the east of Transcarpathia, in the Rakhiv district, scattered on the banks of the White Tysa at an altitude of about 604 meters. Not a skyscraper, of course, but your feet will feel the difference.
The village is old: it was formed from neighboring farms in 1770-1777, and it was first mentioned in 1803 under the name Bohdan. The Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos, the old Jewish cemetery and a botanical monument are visible here - the berry yew, a tree that grows longer than our plans hold.
The nearest city is Rakhiv, from which the road to the mountains along the White Tysa is laid. And in the winter, the village operates a ski complex with downhill skiing on Mount Borshchevytsa, so you won't have to be bored.
