Álftavatn Hut
The Álftavatn hut is a pair of Ferðafélag Íslands buildings sleeping 72 beside the lake of the same name, the second major overnight on the Laugavegur. Both buildings have cold running water, and the toilet house has paid showers, which is uncommon on the route. There is mobile signal here, and you can arrive on foot along the trail or by 4x4 on road F210.
