The tea house is a classic pavilion on the territory of the Vorontsov Palace Park in Alupka, built in 1829 according to the project of the architect F. Elson. Despite the chamber name, it stands near the sea itself and is made in a strict classical style, which contrasts noticeably with the Moorish-Gothic appearance of the palace itself.

The road to it is actually a descent through the lower part of Alupkin Park, from the palace-amphitheatre to the shore. On the way, you will pass an Italian garden, fountains and dozens of exotic plants: the park was laid out by the German gardener Karl Kebach, and a walk through it is worth special attention.

The house itself has survived and works as an exhibition space as part of the palace and park reserve, so inside you can come across thematic exhibitions. It is most pleasant to come here in the warm season, when the fountains are beating and the magnolias, cypresses and redwoods are turning green.
