Borivka
Borevka is a peak almost 1,695 meters high in the Gorgan massif, in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. It stands on the border of Ivano-Frankivsk and Kalusky districts, in the north-western part of Sivula.
Paths lead here from the villages of Stara Huta or Osmoloda, and you can only get to the foot of it by car - then only with your feet. At the top, there are stone outcrops, which are called gorgans here, thickets of mountain pine and a forest below on the slopes. The northern and southwestern slopes are steep, so no one promises an easy walk.
A real kingdom of peaks unfolds around: the Igrovyshte ridge with Igrovets stretches to the north, and the Gorgan ridge to the southwest. Between Borevka and Igrovets there was once a meadow with a pass, and two tourist shelters stood on it from pre-war times. Unfortunately, they have not survived to our days.
