Boyaryn, also known as Korotkan, is a mountain in the center of the Gorgan massif in the Ukrainian Carpathians, about 1,679 meters high. It is located in the Bogorodchan district of the Ivano-Frankivsk region and has an elongated oval shape from east to west, connecting with the neighboring Negrova by a gentle bridge.

They usually come here from the villages of Stara Huta, Bystrytsia or Maksimets, depending on which side you came from. The lower slopes are covered with mixed and coniferous forest, and above the classic Gorgan stone deposits and sandstone screes begin, where it is worth looking carefully under your feet.

In good weather, the ridges of Sivulya, Stanimir and Tavpyshirk can be seen from the top. Bad weather, as usual in Gorgany, hides all this in a cloud, so without a reserve of time and patience it is better not to count on distant panoramas.
