Volovets Pass

The Volovets (Skotarske) Pass (974 m) on the Watershed Ridge is a rail rather than a road gateway: the Beskyd Tunnel on the Lviv-Mukachevo main line runs beneath it, between Oporets and Skotarske. The footpath over the saddle is steep and little-used, but the railway here has not stopped since 1887.
