Latirskyi Pass
Latorsky (Latorytskyi) pass lies at an altitude of about 770 meters at the watershed of the Stryi and Latoritsa rivers, on the border of Transcarpathia and Lviv Oblast. As it is not difficult to guess, he borrowed the name from Latoritsa, which originates here.
Until recently, until the M06 highway was allowed to be bypassed, it was almost the busiest pass of the Ukrainian Carpathians: trucks, buses and everything that rolls were rumbling here. Now the flow subsided, and the pass turned into a quiet spot for a short stop with a view of the surrounding ridges.
