Ruska Put Pass

The Russian Way is a saddle on the Beshchady ridge in the Ukrainian Carpathians, near the highest point of the Lviv region, Mount Pikuy. The name comes from the old path that once crossed the mountain watershed between the valleys here.

Today it is more of a landmark and lookout point on the routes along the Bieszczady ridge: a place where the trail leads to an open saddle with views of the surrounding ridges. A convenient intermediate link for those going to Piqui or traveling along the border.
