Aşağı Karaman — the Lycian Way trailhead

A village in the Konyaaltı district, about 20 km from central Antalya. This is the eastern end of the Lycian Way: the zero point for anyone walking the route east to west towards Fethiye. You can reach it by local transport or taxi from Antalya, and the trail climbs into the Taurus mountains almost at once. There is nothing ceremonial here, just the edge of a village and a signpost, but this is where the 500+ kilometres begin.
