The Taigan Reservoir is an artificial reservoir in the Biloghirsky district of Crimea, spilled on the Dzhaivaganka River. The area is about two square kilometers, the greatest depth is 16.5 meters: not the sea, of course, but far from a puddle.

It was built in 1934-1938, and at that time it was the largest reservoir on the peninsula - a record that was later taken from it. At first, the water was taken to irrigate the fields, and later they began to drive it to the Crimean cities.

Tourists usually come across the reservoir on the way to the Taigan Safari Park with its lions - everyone knows the signs to the park here. The shore itself remains a quiet place for a walk and a few shots.
