Mys Karaul-Oba

Mys Karaul-Oba

Viewpoint 📍 Crimea

Cape Karaul-Oba juts into the Black Sea near New World, in the Sudak region of Crimea. This is the western edge of the mountain massif of the same name, which descends to the sea with rocky ledges and offers the same views that people come here for.

The slopes here are covered by a relict juniper forest, and the famous Golitsyn trail and picturesque bays run nearby. The relief is mountainous and steep in places, so the cape is better for walking in reliable shoes than for leisurely lying on the beach.
