Kutlakskaya Bay

Kutlakskaya Bay

Beach 📍 Crimea

Kutlatsk Bay is a part of the Black Sea on the southern coast of Crimea, in the Feodosia district, sandwiched between Cape Ai-Foka and Mount Karaul-Oba. Because of this relief, the landscape here is guaranteed not to be flat, and the mountain coast immediately hints at what shoes to take.

The bay has a rich collection of names: in addition to Kutlatskaya, it is called Veselovskaya and even Little Captain's bay, so don't be alarmed if you see different labels on different maps - it's all one place. The landmark is simple: the village of Kutlak (aka Vesele) to the north and the Kutlak River flowing into the water.

Mount Karaul-Oba on one side of the bay is a natural dominant that is hard to miss. The coast is mountainous, so comfortable shoes will be much more useful here than beach flip-flops.
