Tataruka
Tataruka is a mountain in the northern part of the Svidovets massif, about 1707 meters high (according to other data - 1711). The peak is covered by mountain ranges, so the scenery here is open in all directions, and Tatarutsi is joined by neighboring Troyaska, Pidpula and Dogyaska.
Administratively, the mountain sits on the border of Rakhiv and Tyachiv districts of Transcarpathia. The eastern slopes are steep and protected by the Apshynets Reserve, and Lake Apshynets is nearby. It is from here, from the slopes of Svidovets, that the sources of the Black Tysa originate.
The easiest way to get to Tataruka is from the main ridge of Svidovets through Troyaska. The southern slopes are softer and more forgiving than the sharply cut eastern slopes, so if you feel sorry for your legs - enter from the south.
