Ayazma
FAQFrequently asked questions
What is Ayazma and where to find it?
This is a tract in the south of Crimea, sandwiched between Balaklava Bay and Cape Aya. The area here is not at all like the rest of the South Bank - that's exactly why it is loved.
Where did this name come from?
The name is Greek and means something like "sanctified" or "blessed". It probably owes to the temple that once stood on Cape Aya nearby.
What interesting things grow here?
Pine, juniper, thuja, ivy - and among them the rare Stankevich pine, for which botanists are ready to climb the slopes. It is enough for an ordinary traveler to admire.
What does Ayazma attract tourists?
Landscapes. The tract is considered one of the most beautiful parts of Crimea, and the landscape here is truly unlike anything else on the coast.
