Kastropolskaya stena

Kastropil Wall (Kastropolsky Kant) is one of the western sections of the sea-facing cliffs of Ai-Petryna Yayla, rising above Castropol, north of the Sevastopol - Yalta highway. The relative height of the wall reaches about 200 meters, and its upper line passes at an altitude of 700-900 meters above sea level.

From the east, the border of the wall is Mount Morcheka, popular among rock climbers, and from the west - the Shaitan-Merdven pass, a natural and historical monument. Castropol has long been considered one of the most popular places for rock climbing with routes of varying difficulty, and in the literature, the Kastropil and neighboring Baidar walls are often combined under the common name Baidaro-Kastropil wall.

For the traveler, it is primarily a powerful observation point and a spectacular rock massif above the southern shore. Wide panoramas of the sea open up from here, so the place is worth climbing the mountain.
