What is Baidar Gate and where is it?

This is a mountain pass in the Crimean Mountains, at an altitude of 527 meters, connecting the Baydar valley with the Black Sea coast. Administratively - Sevastopol region.

Has, and not carefree. The pass was of military importance: in November 1941, a small detachment of border guards under the command of O. S. Terletsky restrained German troops here. Terletsky was shot in 1942.
