Laguna Capri
Laguna Capri is a small mountain lake in Argentine Patagonia, near the town of El Chalten, the capital of local trekking. It lies on the classic route to the foot of Mount Fitzroy.
The main attraction of the lake is the view of the jagged silhouette of Fitzroy reflected in the calm water of a quiet morning. The shores are covered with sparse forests, and it is here that many travelers pitch their tents to meet the dawn under one of Patagonia's most famous mountains.
It can be reached in a few hours of moderate climbing - the route requires no equipment, just comfortable shoes and attention to the variable Patagonian weather.
