Lago Roca (Acigami)

Lake Roca (aka Asigami) lies in Tierra del Fuego National Park in the south of Argentina, stretched along the border with Chile. Surroundings are dense southern forests of Notofagus, typical for these latitudes.

The shores of the lake are criss-crossed with hiking trails of varying difficulty, from easy walks along the water to longer hikes to viewpoints. The place is quiet and a little harsh, like all the nature here near the southern tip of America, so people come here for peace and scenery rather than for attractions.
