Kholovach
Holovacheu is a peak in the Marmaros massif of the Carpathians, in the wild border zone near Pop Ivan of Marmaros. This is the part of the mountains where the ridges become sharp, and the slopes are rocky, not at all similar to the gentle Carpathian valleys.
The place is deaf and sparsely populated, so a hike here is better for those who value silence, space and scenery without crowds. The trails here are not always marked, and you have to navigate by the ridge and maps.
