What is Adishi and where is it?
This is a mountain village in Svaneti in western Georgia, in the Local Municipality of Mystia (Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region). That is, the Caucasus in its most open form.
At what height is it?
About 2040 meters above sea level. You can still breathe, but the stairs to the hill will already remind you of this.
How many people live there?
According to the 2014 census - as many as 44 people. There will definitely not be a queue in the store, because the store, most likely, will too.
What is Adishi interesting to the traveler?
This is part of the Svan region with traditional stone towers - the same ones that make Svaneti recognizable. The atmosphere of an old mountain village without decorations.
