Sinevir - Borzhava
This route is rich in sights. First we have to walk along the rocky peaks of the Gorgany, then along the old Polish-Czechoslovak border forgotten in the forests; we admire Lake Synevyr, cross the alpine meadows of the Borzhava polonyna and see one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Zakarpattia - the Shypit waterfall.

Day by dayItinerary
1 Day 1. Ivano-Frankivsk, Plisce valley.
The group meets at the Ivano-Frankivsk railway station and travels to the village of Osmoloda. Our route begins here. We will walk through the spruce forest of the picturesque valley of the Kotelets River. And then we will begin to climb to the Plisce valley. There is a tourist shelter here where we will spend the night.
2 Day 2. Parenki Ridge, Mount Popadya, old border
In the morning we will begin to climb the Parenki ridge (1736 m). The kingdom of the alpine pine or zherep begins here. Throughout the day we will contemplate the beauty of the power of the surrounding mountains. Then we will climb Mount Popadya (1740 m). Here begin the stone pillars of the Polish-Czechoslovak border, which passed here in the twenties of the last century. Further our path will go along the old border. We will spend the night in the forest on Mount Verkh of the Black River.
3 Day 3. Lake Synevyr.
Today we will walk through the spruce-beech forest all day and enjoy the Carpathian nature. Gradually we will descend to Lake Synevyr. This lake is considered a very popular place and is also called Sea Eye. There is a lot of game in the surrounding forests, and a lot of trout in the lake. We will spend the night near the lake.
4 Day 4. Borzhava Ridge.
Early in the morning we will get up to go by bus to Mezhgorye. Here begins the second part of our route - along the Borzhava valley, which is considered the longest valley in Transcarpathia. We will begin to gradually climb along the Borzhava spur - Poloninsky ridge, until we reach the very top. We have an easy path ahead along the ridge itself. Borzhava rises high above the surrounding mountains - from here you can see almost half of Transcarpathia. We will spend the night near Mount Gymba (1491 m).
5 Day 5. Shipot Waterfall.
Today we will make a radial trek to Mount Stoy (1677 m), which is considered the highest point of the Borzhavsky ridge. And then we’ll start going down to the Shipot waterfall, which is considered one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the Carpathians. Here, not far from the waterfall, we will stop for the night.
