Reykjadalur

A valley with a hot river above the town of Hveragerði in south Iceland, in the geothermally active zone of the Hengill volcano. Bathing is free, but first you walk about 45 minutes uphill past steaming springs. In the river itself you look for the stretch where warm water mixes with cold to a comfortable temperature.
