Dzembronia

Dzembronia is a Hutsul village in the Verkhovyna district, one of the highest in Ukraine (about 950 m): its last houses stretch up the valley of the eponymous river to the very slopes of Chornohora. From here climbs start for Smotrych, Pip Ivan and the Dzembronia waterfalls. Its quiet, its grazhda homesteads and its brilliant starry sky have made it a favourite with hikers.
