Apshynets Ridge

Apshynets is a ridge in the Svidovets massif, one of the highest nooks and crannies of the Ukrainian Carpathians. The terrain here is truly alpine: wide meadows, rocky ledges and characteristic glacial landforms.

The main attraction of the surroundings is a cascade of mountain lakes and waterfalls that collect meltwater and rainwater from the upper reaches. The ridge is popular with those who do multi-day Svidovets routes, often in combination with the famous Dragobrat ski area nearby.
