Velikiy Kanusyak
Veliky Kanusiak is a 1,642-meter-high conical peak in the Gorgan massif, in the Kaluska district of Ivano-Frankivsk region. Nearby is its smaller namesake, Maly Kanusyak (1620 m), with which they are related by a bridge in the northeast.
Up to 1450 meters, the slopes are covered with spruce forest, higher up the forest ends, and stone rubble and mountain pine forest begin. There are no marked trails up the mountain - you have to navigate by the ridge and maps, so it is better not to climb here without at least basic training and navigation.
The nearest settlement and the usual starting point is the village of Osmoloda. From the top you can clearly see the neighbors: to the northwest - Grofa (1748 m), to the southwest - Parenky (1735 m).
