This report is about the tour: Two Ropes 🗓 September 30, 2012
The hike ended many weeks ago, but I continue to share my impressions with all my friends, acquaintances and little-known people with the same charge of enthusiasm! Consider the woman on the train who had never been on a camping trip: after listening to my friend and I, she began planning her future vacation “without leaving the ticket office.”
For me, this was my first trip. Of course, the ropes and the associated presence of extreme sports played a key role in choosing the route! I suspected it would be great, but had no idea how great it would be. Each descent was different from the previous one: today you descend for the first time, tomorrow you use a new skill to descend into a cave that you otherwise cannot get into, to look at underground lakes and bizarrely shaped stalactites and stalagmites. By the way, if you like to climb somewhere, for example, onto a higher rock, then the caves will give you such a chance. You rise to the surface dirty, but incredibly happy!
Then the ascent to North Demerdzhi... From the top you can see how the sea sparkles in the distance, very close by, as if in the palm of your hand, stretches the “Stone Sea” - the Karabi plateau, from which we just recently left with the group, and on the other side you can look at the further route to the rocky battlements, where a crossing and a completely new mass of impressions await us. Along the way there was an opportunity to eat mountain apples and pears, and also to rappel again, in completely different conditions - with a view of the mountains.
Every day was interesting in its own way and ended equally pleasantly in wonderful company around a warming fire. If anyone is interested in the menu, I will say one thing: they didn’t leave you hungry, and it was quite tasty.))
I won’t forget to note the last full day: in addition to the romantic sadness of a close separation, it was filled with ropes - you go down the gorge almost the whole day! (For the guides, of course, it’s still a lot of work - hanging and removing ropes for each descent and managing to keep an eye on the group that has gained confidence.)))) As a result, the path led us to a picturesque parking lot on the bank of a mountain stream, where we spent the last evening...
For me personally, the hike was filled with pleasant surprises, which I wish for everyone, so I won’t give away all the surprises, besides, you will see beautiful landscapes on many hikes, and on this route they will add a zest of extreme sports to your life. Challenge the heights! You will have a strong rope on your side, instructors you can rely on, and you yourself, of course, who you should rely on first.
