Dniester Canyon

Group meeting in Ternopil.
On the way to the beginning of the rafting, an excursion to Buchatsky Castle.
Arrival in Luka village, start of rafting.
Inspection of the watchtower of the Rakovets Castle 17th century, over the river.
Stop at the mouth of the river. The strip from the ascent to Krasnaya Gora offers a breathtaking panorama of the Dniester and the picturesque Beremyansky Canyon from a bird's eye view. The peculiarity of the mountain is that even in the worst winters the snow does not lie here for more than one or two days, so it is not for nothing that locals call this area “Dniester subtropics”.

Day 2
Continuation of the rafting to the village of Ustechko, before leaving an excursion to the Dzhurinsky waterfall - the largest flat waterfall in Ukraine 16 m. In its vicinity is the Chervonograd Castle of the 17th century. Water was supplied to the fortress under pressure from a catchment area, which was located on a mountain 2 km from the fortress. During an enemy attack the river Dzhurin was blocked by a dam, and the fortress ended up on the island and the Catholic Church of the 18th century.
Transfer to Ternopil. On the way, visit the Chertkovsky, Terebovlyansky and Mikulinetsky castles.
