What is Oludeniz and where to find it?
This is a resort village on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey, in the Mugla region, 15 km from Fethiye. The main attraction is the Blue Lagoon, for which people come here.
How to get there?
The landmark is the city of Fethiye, from which the village is only 15 km away. From there, you can easily reach the lagoon and beaches.
Is it true that they fly with paragliders here?
True, and this is a local chip. Starts from Mount Babadag - the main one at an altitude of 1,672 m, the upper one as high as 1,980 m, and above the bay you can reach 1,000-1,500 m. If you are afraid of heights, it is better to just admire other people's flights from below.
When is the best time to come?
Summer is a classic for the beach, and in October, paragliding acrobatics competitions are held here. The show is free, look up.
What about housing and who goes here?
There are many hotels, mostly 2-3 stars, plus cafes and bars along the central street. Most of them are Germans, English and Irish, so the company is international.
