Bhaktapur

Bhaktapur is the best-preserved medieval city of the Kathmandu Valley, the third of the Newar royal capitals. Its Durbar Square with the 55-window palace, the Nyatapola temple and the pottery square form a UNESCO site; bricks are still fired and pots still thrown right in the street.
