What are these rocks made of?
Mostly of hard Carpathian sandstone: the softer surrounding rock eroded away, leaving the resistant blocks standing as bizarre outcrops.
Which are the easiest to reach?
The Falcon Rocks and the Drohobych Stone are reached by short trails; the Shpytsi above Zaroslyak need a full mountain hike.
Do you need any gear?
For sightseeing, no - good shoes are enough. Climbing the rocks needs experience and safety gear; the stone can be slippery.
