Morshin
Morshin is a small resort town in the Stryi district of the Lviv region, in the foothills of the Carpathians. Despite its modest size, it has an all-Ukrainian fame, and it is based on the local mineral water.
It is from here that the famous Morshynska ropa originates - a healing mineral water, on which local balneology has been based since the 19th century. Sanatoriums, water pumps and a quiet resort park make the city a place for leisurely treatment rather than a starting point for active climbing.
For a tourist, Morshyn is convenient as a quiet base: from here you can reach Stryi, Truskavets and the nearby Carpathian foothills, and after the routes it is nice to return to where you are treated with mineral water.
