What is Perast and where to look for it?
This is a small ancient town on the shore of the Bay of Kotor in Montenegro, part of the municipality of Kotor. It lies literally near the water - the height above sea level is only 6 meters.
Why do tourists come here?
For the sake of baroque with a Venetian character: the town has preserved the historical buildings of those times. Only about 350 people live here permanently, so the crowd is about the guests.
What to see nearby?
Opposite Perast there are two islands with churches - Our Lady of Shkrpyela and St. Yuri. These are the main postcard views of the entire bay, you can't miss them.
How to get here?
Perast is part of the municipality of Kotor - one of the tourist centers of the Adriatic coast, so build the logic of the route through Kotor.
