Cabildo de Tenerife and Gobierno de Canarias canceled their emergency plan and high-alert mode for rain on the evening of November 4 after the state meteorological agency Aemet lifted all storm warnings for the archipelago.

Despite the weather receding, areas Parque Nacional del Teide above 2,700 meters remain dangerous due to the persistence of snow and ice. The Safety and Environment Advisor Blanca Pérez said that restrictions imposed earlier this week will continue to be in place for the safety of visitors.

The seven trails leading to the summit of the peak Teide are closed: Telesforo Bravo, Mirador de La Fortaleza, Mirador de Pico Viejo, Los Regatones Negros, Chafarí, as well as sections of the Montaña Blanca-La Rambleta and Teide-Pico Viejo routes. As an exception, access to these high-altitude areas is only allowed to experienced professionals with special winter equipment.
